Peer Ministry

Leading through Service

Looking for ways to help others and enrich your own understanding?  Want to go deeper on your personal faith journey?  Consider becoming involved in our parish's Peer Ministry.

Peer Ministry meets on Monday evenings, from 7-9PM, in the Education Building.  Those involved in Peer Ministry must have taken the preliminary Leadership Development Training sessions and/or must have exhibited prior leadership within the parish community and must be in 8th grade or high school.

If you are interested in participating in this ministry, please contact Christine M. Hinton.

"This is what is needed: a Church for young people, which will know how to speak to their heart and enkindle, comfort, and inspire enthusiasm in it with the joy of the Gospel and the strength of the Eucharist; a Church which will know how to invite and welcome the person who seeks a purpose for which to commit his whole existence; a Church which is not afraid to require much, after having given much; which does not fear asking from young people the effort of a noble and authentic adventure, such as that of the following of the Gospel."

- Saint Pope John Paul II,       1995 World Day of Prayer for Vocations
